Mr Almantas Šerpatauskas has been appointed as Interim Director of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC). Until now, he worked as Head of the Study Programmes Evaluation Division.
According to the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of 28 August 2018, Mr Šerpatauskas was appointed to the position of Director of SKVC till the permanent Director is elected and appointed in accordance with the national legislation.
Mr Almantas Šerpatauskas is working at the SKVC for twenty years already. In 1998, he started his career as Chief Officer of the Study Programmes Evaluation Division. In 2005, he became Head of the Division. Mr Šerpatauskas has been working as an expert and manager at various local and international projects and workgroups in the fields of higher and vocational education and training.
The position of the Director of the SKVC became vacant when, at the end of this August, Ms Nora Skaburskienė left her post for a new position in the higher education sector in Lithuania.
