It is noted that 16 March 2017 by the Minister of Education and Science was issued an order Nr. V-179 Regarding permission to conduct studies and activities related to studies abolition of Vilnius University International Business School. By this order the activity of mentioned Higher Education Institution as independent non-governmental Higher Education Institution activity was stopped.
VU IBS integration to the Vilnius University as an internal organisation unit (lot. sui generis) was validated by the Senate of Vilnius University in summer of 2016. Previoulsy having acted as independent non-governmental organisation now this Institution becomes Vilnius University Business School – a full-fledged part of Vilnius University.
After the integration the name will be changed to VU Business School, meanwhile study programmes are transfered to the programme list of Vilnius University.
