It was brought to our attention, that the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) is included in the world ranking of universities at the Webometrics site under the Lithuania list (http://www.webometrics.info/en/Europe/Lithuania).
Notably, SKVC is not a higher education institution and never was a provider of such studies. From the foundation in 1995, SKVC acts as the external quality assurance agency and as the academic recognition center, part of ENIC/NARIC networks. SKVC does not officially subscribe to any ranking methodology and urges readers to look for official sources of information on quality of studies, such as quality agencies of respective countries, ministries of education, academic information centres and similar.
