On 17 July 2019, Lithuanian Minister of Education, Science and Sports signed an Order approving the Regulations for External Evaluation and Accreditation of Studies, Evaluation Fields, and Indicators. The procedures of external evaluation and accreditation for ongoing studies under the new arrangements will be implemented from 1 January 2020, according to the plan of external evaluation of study fields approved and publicly announced by SKVC.
Currently the methodologies for the evaluation of study fields and the evaluation of new study programmes are being prepared involving all interested parties. External study evaluation and accreditation will be carried out according to these methodologies.
