The Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA) held workshop on May 11 and its general assembly on May 12, 2012 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meetings were hosted by the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance. The new agreement between the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and CEENQA was signed during the workshop.
Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education submitted an application for full membership in CEENQA. Centre was one of the agencies that established CEEN, predecessor of CEENQA, in 2001, but the national legislation prevented the Centre from becoming founding members of CEENQA in 2011, when it was legally registered.
CEENQA members voted unanimously for membership of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education.
CEENQA welcomed two more new members. CEENQA now has a total of 23 member agencies.
