Functions
The Centre was established in 1994 within the International Relations Department of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science. The members of the staff work in close cooperation with the Legislation Commissions which are expert bodies of the Ministry of Education and Science entrusted with recognition of foreign credentials.
The main function of the Centre is to supply information and authoritative advice on different matters concerning credential evaluation to induviduals, educational institutions and organizations in Bulgaria and abroad. In order to fulfill that function , the Bulgarian ENIC/NARIC Centre organizes the following activities :
- evaluates foreign credentials;
- provides and disseminates information on the Bulgarian educational system;
- collects and provides information on foreign educational systems.
