Legal status of ENIC evaluation
The evaluation of documents is done on a basis of the listed below regulations. In cases when there is a bilateral agreement between Poland and a given country, Section for Recognition of Education or similar units in the ministries mentioned in point 5.4 issue administrative statements confirming the equivalency of a foreign diploma with a Polish professional title/scientific degree.
When there is no bilateral agreement, our Section advises and gives opinion to higher education institutions which can nostrify a given diploma.

Procedures of evaluation in the particular country
There is an “automatic” recognition of a given diploma in cases when there is a bilateral agreement between Poland and a given country.
If there is no such a bilateral agreement, the process of nostrification is done at a higher education institution according to the legal regulations.
