Recognition of studies and qualifications

 

System of "recognition" or "accreditation" of studies completed and credentials awarded within the country:

 

All courses of studies and credentials obtained from a Romanian State accredited higher education institution are recognised by the State.

 

Access to the professions is based on diplomas awarded by Romanian higher education institutions and is regulated by the Law of Education.

 

Institutional transfer is possible between institutions of the same type without any special provisions, and among institutions of a different type after passing a number of exams and interviews called diferete.

 

Description of services provided and types of students dealt with:

Equivalence of studies pursued by the candidates abroad; fixing the material conditions under which studies are to be made;

 

Affiliation to & enrolment of candidates in different public institutions; medical control of the candidates for free.
