The Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education is now undergoing the self-assessment process and preparing for the international peer visit foreseen in February, 2017.
Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education made some corrections at the annex of the Analysis of 2011-2015 External Review of Higher Education Institutions in Lithuania.
SKVC (Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education) worked together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania, the Education Exchanges Support Foundation (SMPF) and the national experts for higher education to organize the international conference aimed at quality assurance issues in higher education under the Bologna Process, which took place on March 30, 2016 in Vilnius.
On 31 March 2016, the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education organised a seminar on the Chinese education system. The event was attended by employees of higher education institutions, working closely with the search, selection and admission of students from China.
Acting Director of SKVC Nora Skaburskienė took part in the Final conference of BIHTEK project (Benchmarking as a Tool for Improvement of Higher Education Institution Performance - 530696-TEMPUS-1-2012-1-BE-TEMPUS-SMGR) on the 5-6 of April in Mostar.
The international conference “Automatic recognition: potential and challenges” was held in Riga, Latvia on March 21, 2016. The conference was arranged by the Academic Information Centre – Latvian ENIC/NARIC in cooperation with Archimedes Foundation (Estonia) and Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC, Lithuania).
On March 9-10, 2016, Director of Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) together with Lithuanian state institution officers and representatives of social partners took part in a meeting with European Commission (EC) representatives in Brussels.

On January 2015 Vilnius was visited by the expert team, that ran an external review of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) as Lithuanian ENIC-NARIC representative.
Šiauliai University is undergoing a second institutional review organised by SKVC on 21-25 March, 2016. The international expert team consists of six members. This repeated evaluation follows the first review of the institution conducted in 2012 when the evaluation area of Strategic Management was evaluated negatively.
