On 6th of April 2017 representatives of Bethlehem University – dr Irene Hazou, Vice President for Academic Affairs and dr Muna Matar, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs visited SKVC.
From 2017-04-01 onward applicants seeking recognition must provide an additional documents with their applications - a "Proof of Purpose"
It is noted that 16 March 2017 by the Minister of Education and Science was issued an order Nr. V-179 Regarding permission to conduct studies and activities related to studies abolition of Vilnius University International Business School.
On 17th March 2017 the kick-off meeting of LIREQA Project took place in Vilnius, organized by the coordinator, SKVC.
In Octоber 2016 the second KVK institutional assessment took place. Following the proposal of international review group KVK work was evaluated positively so that KVK was accredited for a maximum period of 6 years.
Annual meeting of Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian ENIC-NARIC centres was held in Vilnius on 6-7 March 2017. This year, the 14th annual meeting was organised by the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education.
On Februray 21-24 SKVC is being visited by ENQA experts that have already met specialists and council of SKVC and representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science. Today, on February 23rd the experts will meet university and college employees, SKVC experts from high schools and representatives of employment market.
On February 21-24th, an international ENQA review panel visits SKVC. The purpose is to evaluate how SKVC complies with the expectations of Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG-2015).
A competition for SKVC Director's vacancy for 4 year term announced by the Ministry of Education and Science has been won by Ms Nora Skaburskienė who has temporarily held SKVC Director's position so far.
On February 2nd SKVC representatives took part in a conference for directors of Lithuanian colleges meeting that was held in Vilnius college.
