Director of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education Nora Skaburskienė is leaving for new position

Ms. Nora Skaburskienė is leaving her role as the Director of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education on 22 August. She is leaving her post to take on new career opportunities.

“I have been with SKVC for seventeen years. During those years, we have implemented many interesting and important projects”, said Nora Skaburskienė. “While this has been one of the most satisfying, rewarding, and all-around wonderful job I've ever had, I feel that it's time for me to explore new challenges and diversify my experience. I have decided to accept a job offer, which provides new and interesting opportunities. At the same time, I am excited to continue working in the higher education sector and being able apply the valuable experience I have acquired in this organisation over the years.”

Nora Skaburskienė has been working at the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education since 2001. In 2013 she was appointed to the role of the Acting Director of the Centre and last year, after a selection procedure, was assigned to this office for a 4 year term.

According the order of the Ministry of Education and Research, starting from 23 August 2018, she will be replaced by Almantas Šerpatauskas who will serve as Acting Director of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education until a permanent director is selected.
