2016-04-11

On 31 March 2016, the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education organised a seminar on the Chinese education system. The event was attended by employees of higher education institutions, working closely with the search, selection and admission of students from China.

The Chinese education system was presented by Marijke Blom-Westrik, expert at the Dutch ENIC/NARIC centre (EP-NUFFIC).

The seminar participants received detailed information about Chinese higher education qualifications and learned to “read” education documents issued in the country. In the first part of the seminar, the expert talked about Chinese qualifications giving access to higher education, and in the second part – higher education qualifications. In order to consolidate their theoretical knowledge, the participants performed practical tasks.

The seminar was organised under the EU-funded project “Strengthening of the System for Academic Recognition (KAPRIS-2)”, project code No 09.3.2-ESFA-V-710-01-0001.
