An annual meeting of Baltic quality agencies in higher education and vocational education and training was taking place on 4-5th of September in Jaskonys (Lithuania). In this meeting, which was organised by the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) and the National Education Agency, participants from Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education (EKKA), Latvian Quality Agency for Higher Education (AIKA) and Latvian State Education Quality Service took part.
On the first day of the meeting, every country presented ongoing activities, current changes in their higher education regulations, specific working methods and plans for the future. The second day was devoted to discuss internationalisation in higher education, expert training, internal quality assurance processes and challenges that agencies currently face.
