Mr. Tautvydas Klivickas met Mr. Almantas Šerpatauskas, Director of SKVC, and Ms. Aurelija Valeikiene, Deputy Director, and discussed various issues of higher education that are relevant to students, to the national quality assurance agency, and the Ministry. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Andrius Zalitis, Advisor to the current permanent Minister of Education, Science and Sport dr Algirdas Monkevičius.

During the meeting at SKVC, the main focus was on the acquisition and improvement of teachers' didactic competences, from the one side, and students' responsibility for their learning outcomes, on the other. Attention was also given to changing legislation of higher education and on-going debates on the new external quality assurance framework in Lithuania.

Tautvydas Klivickas is currently studying Economics and Political Science at ISM University of Management and Economics. The LSS initiative "Student, Become a Minister!" is dedicated to the International Student Day, which is celebrated on November 17th. The LSS invited students to become head of their chosen ministry or Prime Minister for one day on 14 November, and this will be followed by joint meeting of students ministers and the real Cabinet of Ministers on 15 November. In that meeting, the discussion on how each ministry can contribute to the future and current well-being of students will take place.
