SKVC call for experts

SKVC announces a public call for international experts to participate in procedures of study field evaluations in Lithuania in 2022. Evaluation of study fields encompass several similar study programmes clustered by fields of study. 
Prior experience of participation in peer reviews in the home country or within European Higher Education Area is expected. Experts should be known in their fields nationally as researchers or teachers of the subject, or be Bologna experts, or independent higher education consultants, and have previous experience of expert activity in studies or research and/or consultancy. The whole evaluation process will be conducted in English, by international panels, therefore fluency in English is required. 
Study fields, to be evaluated and accredited in the second half of 2022, are the following:
  • Aerospace Engineering,
  • Anthropology,
  • Archaeology,
  • Design,
  • Finance,
  • Geology,
  • Heritage Studies,
  • Materials Technology,
  • Measurement Engineering,
  • Media Art,
  • Medicine,
  • Microbiology,
  • Philology,
  • Rehabilitation,
  • Safety Engineering.

If you are interested, please send your Curriculum Vitae, and a short motivation letter via the form available on our website here. Please indicate prior peer review experience, also your engagement with internal quality assurance at a HEI, if the case. 
A relevant fee of expert services is offered. 
At the moment physical visits to higher education institutions are planned, however, final decisions regarding the visit will be taken considering the up-to-date pandemic situation and international travel possibilities.
