In most cases you can continue your study and seek employment without formal recognition of your education or qualifications. However, sometimes formal recognition will be necessary to gain access to specific employment or study.

Formal recognition is a procedure offered by competent authorities to determine whether your education and/or qualification are comparable to the Lithuanian qualification usually required for access to this profession or to a specific level of study.
