Institutional review of Klaipėda State College

In Octоber 2016 the second KVK institutional review took place. Following the proposal of international review team KVK work received positive evaluation and KVK was accredited for a maximum period of 6 years.

International review team that accomplished the recurring assessment emphasized that KVK took proper actions in order to improve the weak areas that were identified by the previous assessment. The first review was organized on 2013 and it was decided to evaluate the College negatively.

How the assessment took place?
The international review team visited KVK. The experts discussed the problems with KVK management, academic society, graduates, employers and social partners. In addition to that the review team also analyzed KVK self-evaluation report.

The second high school assessment was carried out by international review team that consisted of the following members:

  • Prof. Donald McQuillan (group head, Ireland);
  • Dr. Tara Ryan (group secretary, Ireland);
  • Prof. Lukas Scherer (Switzerland);
  • Dr. Fredy Sidler (Switzerland);
  • Stasys Švagždys (employers' representative, Lithuania);
  • Laura Jonušaitė (students' representative, Lithuania).
