On February 2nd SKVC representatives took part in a conference for directors of Lithuanian colleges meeting that was held in Vilnius college.
SKVC temporal director Nora Skaburskienė presented to college directors the process of external review. Deputy Director of SKVC Aurelija Valeikiene presented self-evaluation results that were accomplished following Standarts and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG-2015). In addition directions for higher education school activity improvements and actual questions for whole higher education system were identified. The discussion especially focused on college sector specifics, planned changes of assessment of study programs, internationality aspects, expert selection and training.
The visit of ENQA expert group in SKVC is planned on February 21-24, 2017. International experts and other stakeholder groups will also meet both private and state college directors.
