In June 2015, the Independent Kazakhstan Quality Assurance Agency (IQAA) and the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) have signed a Memorandum to establish effective and mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of quality assurance in higher education.
IQAA and SKVC have agreed on cooperation in the following areas: sharing experience in the field of evaluation procedures and mechanisms of accreditation in higher education institutions; promoting cooperation in the evaluation process through nominations of experts; cooperation in conducting seminars, conferences, round tables aimed at improving the system of quality assurance in higher education as and when appropriate for both Parties; consultations on improvement of standards and criteria of Institutional and Study programme evaluations, etc.
