On 11-13 June 2023 the 30th Joint ENIC/NARIC Members Meeting was held in Stockholm, Sweden. Aurelija Valeikienė, SKVC Deputy Director and Eglė Grigonienė, Chief Specialist of the Qualifications Assessment Division attended the meeting.
The aim of the event was to share knowledge on the policy and practice of recognition of qualifications and to exchange experiences and insights on how to cooperate across national borders. Special attention was given to the monotoring of implementation of the Lisbon Recognition Converntion; Global Recognition Convention; digitgal transformation and automatic recognition; quality education, fraud and corruption. Such internal topics the ENIC-NARIC Charter which provides the overall framework for the networks, practical compliance with the best international practices and capacity building through projects were also on the agenda. Aurelija Valeikienė gave a presentation on preparation for the practical implementation of automatic recognition among Benelux & Baltic countries – this is being done by the EC-supported DIGI-AR project.
